Founded on 17 June 1990 by a group of Korean believers, Sydney Peace Church has grown into a diverse community of people from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and many other backgrounds. Today, we worship and serve together in Korean and English as one family in Christ.
Sydney Peace (Pyunghwa) Church founded in Castle Hill.
Relocated to South Hurstville and renamed as Hurstville Peace (Pyunghwa) Church.
Relocated to Bexley and continued to serve the Lord as Hurstville Peace (Pyounggang) Church.
2023 Feburary
Our History
1992 April
United with Rockdale Church and renamed as Rockdale Peace (Pyunghwa) Church.
2019 March
Concluded affiliation with the Uniting Church Australia and formed Hurstville Peace (Pyounggang) Church.
2026 March
Renamed as Sydney Peace Church and relocated to Strathfield with worship held at St Anne's Church building.

A Message from our Pastor
It is our joy to welcome you to Sydney Peace Church.
Our church began by trusting in the guidance and work of the Holy Spirit, and we continue to believe that His power is at work among us today. Though we are weak, we trust that God’s strength is revealed through our weaknesses.
Our desire is to honour God through true worship, grow together through His Word, and become a missional community that shares the love of Christ with the world.
Through worship and praise, we seek to glorify God. Through His Word and love, we nurture one another to grow as faithful and mature disciples of Christ. And through our mission, we seek to shine the light of the Gospel and become channels of His grace wherever He has placed us.
This is our vision for a healthy church that brings joy to our Lord.
